Kibbutz Life in Photos

Our huge house - all couches and bed bugs.

Each day was filled with riding to work in the morning, riding to the pool in the afternoon, and sleeping through the unbearable heat in between. As old, rusted and falling apart as these bikes were, they were well used and loved.

One of our countless dress-up parties. The theme at this one was 'things starting with an R' in honour of Revivim.

Cocktails and watermelon - the perfect way to enjoy a hot afternoon in the desert, and lots of fun too!

Evidence of our very "educational" kibbutz period - good thing the fridge isn't any bigger!

The fun just never stopped...

Boredom. Our days were more than half empty. The people were great, but we were ready to leave by the end of the 6 weeks.

Our first sight of Camiel, before leaving for Poland. Truly spectacular.
